Well, I just tried to open my mouth and I have NO voice today. Oh, jeez. Unfortunately, I discovered this only when I called Jeremy’s house and was leaving a message for him. I wonder what on earth he’ll make of that. I hope it doesn’t scare him!

Unexpectedly, I find your blog from Jonathan’s website. I’m Joyce. and I am a sophomore, majoring in English.(shy~) I was born in Kunming but currently I study in Xi’an. I just came back home from Xi’an last week. This summer is kinda boring. My friends are not here with me, so I have no one to hang out with. What I do everyday is reading Jonathan’s and your blogs every morning and doing some English studies in the afternoon.
Thanks for sharing all your experiences with me! I do understand how u feel, ‘cos 2 years ago, I was also a stranger in Xi’an. And I had no one to turn to at the very beginning. I complained or even cursed everything around me for a whole year. However, things are getting better and better as time goes by.
I’m glad to meet you online! And if you like, we can be friends. I used to corresponde with a guy from Hungary by email. Actually, he helped me with my English,and as an exchange, I helped him with his Chinese.
