you just can't help but mention what book you're reading, huh dad? heh...

funny, I was home ill on thursday as well..

its nice to hear what you guys are doing in china.. sorry we haven't been able to chat much lately cause i'm so busy.

I had a dream about you as well the other night (elizabeth), we were somewhere out shopping.. and it was your birthday.. I wanted to find you something. but we were having a nice time, like we hadn't seen each other in a while. heh.

I'm still doing my temp work.. and today matthew and i have planned a nice day out and we're gonna play some pool or snooker. I'll write in my blog this weekend probably.

i love you!

Haircut and glasses, eh? I recently bought several reading glasses at the Dollar Tree. (This is Jeremy's influence. He completely converted me to a Dollar Tree customer when he was here!)

I cleaned house yesterday and avoided thinking about college or church. The result was startling. Eileen was away assisting Barb through a carpel tunnel surgery (she did fine and is recuperating). So I spent the whole day organizing and sweeping and stuff like that. The house feels great today.

Unfortunately, Eileen is under the weather. She came home with a sore throat and called in sick today. She upstairs falling back asleep after Chicken Noodle soup and Theraflu.

I continue to enjoy teaching. Life goes on. I miss you. You were in a recent dream. In the next building where something calamity (earthquake?) was happening. I couldn't work my dang cell phone to call you. Couldn't locate your number. Someone else told me you were okay. So in the end it was okay.

Next week, Mark and I meet with Mom and Dad Jenkins's lawyer to help set up wills and estate planning and such. This is to put Mom and Dad's mind at ease. I hope it does that.

I am reading a great book by the late Egyptian writer, Naguib Mahfouz, "Children of the Alley." I quoted from this in my letter to Senator Stabenow posted on my web site and Live Journal. Heh.

And so it goes. We'll have to do the web cam thing soon.
