Wow! What a run-around! Glad it all seems to have worked out for you guys. 7 floors - you have a built in exercise program, too! Good job.

Will you be able to find a room for us near this apartment? Is it close to your school, as well?

We've been working on the Chinese but I'm afraid we're real "gringos" - ugh! The writing is fun, though. I like it! I ordered the DK phrase book on-line. We ordered some flashcards too.

We have lots of snow and the temps are low and we have winds as well. Feels like winter or something! Are you sure that March temps in Kunming will be warm mid-day?? That's only a month away! I'm knitting a sweater - guess I'd better bring it!

All's well that ends well.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

A stich in time saves nine.

One is the loneliest number.

Slip sliding away.

hmmmmm.

7 floors? Maybe I can get one of your slaves to carry me up.

Just kidding.

So glad you were able to get an apartment...sound like it is
better that you were forced to wait and get another one...snow, snow, here and 7 degrees this morning...
